What return/refund policy do you have should the puppy "not work out" or have genetic medical problems? - posted by BriansBoy
My screening of new puppy owners is carefully done. People need to understand the true commitment of inviting a puppy into their home. They need to know that this is a family member that they will have for the entire life of this dog. If someone finds that due to unforseen circumstances that they can't keep this dog, I want to know about it and I will find the dog a new home. A breeder must be responsible for the puppies they bring into the world.
As far as health guarantees are concerned, the new owner has a health guarantee of 72 hrs. in which to have the dog checked by a licensed veterinarian - and is urged to do so. If the veterinarian finds anything seriously wrong with the dog, the dog may be returned provided a letter from the examining veterinarian is offered as evidence of the dog's illness, and that the dog is returned within the guaranteed period. The puppy must also be returned in the same condition it was in as when it left my home.
