Expert Breeder Questions

When I bought my puppy, the breeder said that I could find out a lot about his lineage from a "stud book". I am uncertain what that really is. Help! - posted by Brian

Hi Brian, The stud book is the AKC (American Kennel Club) record of dogs that have been bred. You need a pedigree from your breeder in order to see his lineage. You should have gotten a pedigree from your breeder when you purchased your puppy.
