Hi. I saw your email address at a website and i decided to
ask you some question. I want to know if my dog is a pure
Ridgeback. I know ridgebacks need to have to crowns on the
sides of their ridge and at first my puppy had them but
later on one got lost. Also he is a little darker colored
and his hair is i think a bit longer than it should be. How
can i find out if he is pure or not?
Did you buy your puppy from a Ridgeback breeder? That would be the person you should
ask. If you did not, then you should seek the help of a good (Ridgeback) breeder to determine
whether or not you actually have a purebred Rodesian Ridgeback. Your veterinarian may be able to
help you contact a reputable breeder about this.
