I have an almost five year old Siberian Husky mix that I have raised
from the age of 7 weeks... By the age of 2 years, she had started to show agression towards *some*
other dogs. One black lab she had been friends with was suddenly her
enemy. Corrections do nothing. Now I never know what dog she will like
and what ones she'll want to fight....

Dear Bif, Three months ago I got a small red Chow (Pretzel.) She is almost 2 years old
and very sociable and agreeable--"not a mean bone in her body." The problem
is with my other dog (Patches), a 7-year-old Sheltie. Pretzel loves to play
but Patches won't play. Not only will she not play, she has become a tyrant,
not even wanting to let Pretzel into the house proper and certainly not
upstairs...

I have a 1 year old spayed Golden Retriever. She used to be very good with
other dogs but we have just moved to a new state and from a house to an
apartment. I have noticed she doesn't do well with other dogs now. She shows
some aggressive behavior to other dogs...

I have a 3.5 yr old female shepherd mix who was abused ... Both are wonderful and have
responded well to training except in one area.. The female is the dominant dog,
being older and here first. But, she bullies the male to the point that when
I have to put them in their room/dog door to outdoor run when going away the
male is afraid to go in because she is abusive to him.

Dear Bif;
My husband and I operate a small business out of our home. We have
recently hired a helper who is terrified of dogs (we have 3)... I think he
senses our helpers fear of him and is playing it up...Shep is still acting
strangely toward him. Today when he came out of the washroom Shep barked
at him as though he was about to attack.
