Viewer Question Topic: Aggressive / Dominant Dogs

Could you please explain to me what Springer Rage is, how to tell if my dog has it and how it can be treated. I have a 2 year old, female, spayed, English Springer Spaniel who is generally a love. Occassionaly, she "attacks". She will growl and snarl and charge at you, occassionally coming on contact with a body part, but then quickly stop and go and hide under a table. My fear is that she will bite someone and she is a law suit waiting to happen. I love her dearly and want her to be happy but I don't like having a dog that I am afraid of. Can you give me so info. I'd really appreciate it. Thanks -Debbie

What is it that proceeds these "attacks"? You need to check with a veterinarian and if all is physically well, then see about lessons with a trainer with aggressive dog experience.
