Hi Bif, my dog continually likes to lick people. This is becoming very annoying. Any ideas on how to stop this? - Doug

Hi Doug, tell him/her "no kisses" and if he/she does lick - instantly one squirt in the face with a tiny water pistol (unless the dog likes it). If it's a small pup, blow on his/her nose or spray bitter apple spray on your hand-tell him/her "no kisses" and let the pup lick it. If the dog likes it, it will not work! Remember by licking you your pup is saying "I'm submissive, I like you, your the boss" so he/she is waiting for a command or approval, a pat on the head and "go lie down" will work great if the dog knows what you mean!
