This dog needs a good and loving home before he ends up in the dog pound. I can't have a dog here, so I'm trying to find someone who can give him the home he deserves. This is one of those situations where he got dropped off on me and I'm left to find him a safe home.
He is one year old mix yellow lab and german shepherd and we think perhaps a bit of chow as well. His name is Rusty, he's a very affectionate and loves to play. He is housebroken, but because he's a good size dog, I can't have him indoors. He is great with children and one heck of a guard dog, only barks if he thinks someone or something is trying to intrude. If you don't want anyone getting ideas about entering your property, this is the dog for you. He is very protective!
The ideal person for Rusty would be someone who has the energy to play with him and can give him the love and kindness he deserves. There is no cost for him, he is very healthy and has had all of his shots, he's not a picky eater. This is an all around good dog who deserves to have a long safe life. If you aren't able to take him, please ask around. I really can't keep him much longer.
