I just wanted to let you and your staff know how pleased
I am with the order I received. I cant believe it arrived so soon (today
is Monday and I ordered it Friday!) Everythings is great. Also I would
like to let you know how helpful and responsive Jerry in your customer
service dept was. I wish you continued success in 2001 and the happiest of
holidays! Max and Mason's mom
I stumbled upon your site quite by accident while"surfing". I would just
like to thank you for posting the Forum rules up front. Just this past week,
I was involved in just the types of incidents you warned against. Some of
these incidents left me literally shaking. I get the feeling that this would
not be tolerated on your site. I hope no one ever has to go through what I
did. Keep up the great work and thank you again! Kay in Chicago.
Keep up the excellent work at your website. I am continually
impressed with the extent of your website. I am a huge dog lover who just
adopted a new abandoned stray dog to my family and I'm looking for new items to
indulge in for our new dog. And your site is always filled with pertinent
info about enjoying and caring for our dogs. Thank you, Lisa
Great site. I've been checking in for months. Thanks for posting my
Maggawiggie photo in the "Breed Photo" and unfortunately my " Lady" in
"Memory Bridge" it helped. And now "Maggawiggie" just won June 13th "Say
Treats Photo contest" what a present for her June 18th birthday. I've got
everybody at the vet hospital checking into Thepoop.com now and relatives and
friends from North Carolina to Australia. 1000 Woofs is great too. That
will be the next treat. We're watching everyday for our picture "Lady,
Maggie & Brandy's" in 1000 woofs and enjoying all the others. Thanks for a
great site. It would surely be missed. - THREEDOGHOME123

Rocky -
Thanks for the 'breed photos' section. It's great! It's fun looking
at the pictures of the different breeds, especially the ones I'd never
heard of. ThePoop has always been a fun web page, and it just keeps
getting better.

Outstandsing! I have been visiting THE POOP for several
months....I love it!! Your site has helped me so much... In January my beloved Baby Dog died of cancer. She was soooo special to me we had been together 11 years. In Feburary I got a Jack Russell terrier puppy, Princess Diana. She can reach the keyboard and tries to help me write this....she also loves the barking on the contest! I have enjoyed THE POOP's pics, advice, contests..all of it. Thanks for being there, Linda.
"treats" for one and all!!!
You all deserve Scritches behind the ear for putting together such an
enjoyable site. Alpha! Way to Go... :0)
It takes a pup to teach us unconditional devotion and forgiving us when
we quite don't get the message when they try their best to communicate.
Dogs have such great Spirits!
Grateful for all you PooPness!
HumanBean ~ (annie s.)
p.s. I saw my pup is on line now. How Kewl!
(Norm Abram Smith - Australian Shepherd)
Of course, I'm sending all my friends to see the PooP! ^..^
WooF!
Hi, I entered my dog into the [Say Treats] contest back in November. I know you guys have lots of photos coming in but how long do I have to wait??? Robin, Ft. Meyers, FL.
Hi Robin,
We just increased the number of contests by changing them from bi-monthly to weekly! That will help with moving the entries through. We can't give an estimated time as it's a random pull from the number of entries we have at the end of each contest... and that number is always growing. Signed, Rocky.
Hi I have a female long hair cat. She's about one and a half years old. She has been tested for feline lukemia and HIV, and the results were negative. The testing was done when she was six months old. I recently went to the vet. for an annual check-up, and was told that she had gingivitis. He did not give me any kind of suggested treatment and I was wondering if you could tell me how to try to get rid of it. I have researched gingivits and found that it can lead to serious problems down the road.
Thank-you Melissa.
Hi Melissa,
We are a site that discusses issues for dogs, not c*ts. I like to chase c*ts and my mommy is allergic so it's just us doggies here. Please contact your local vet with any questions.
I was just reading your Rescue Arena. When will people realize that when
they adopt a dog, it's not a stuffed animal. He has feelings and .....
Then there are those who don't have their dogs spayed or neutered.
Aren't there enough unwanted animals on this planet.
It just makes my heart break.. and all I want to do is cry.
I can't ever imagine life without my girl Jackie..... She's not a pure breed.
I tell her she's a Love Child. She's the best. I guess for 1 lucky dog on this earth there are 1,000 unlucky ones. Just had to get it off my chest.
I really enjoy your site--I log in almost every day.
Thanks for hosting a great site for animal lovers. |
Hi,
I'm a relative new-comer to the Poop and I think it is great, but, there
are a lot of dogs in Australia who also would like to be adopted but there
isn't a whole lot of information/space related to Australia. I know that my
next dog will come from a shelter and would like to see one online, on a
web page as devoted as this.
So, how about it? I know there are others out there who would agree with me
in this request. Rana.
Hi Rana,
We're working to improve our Helping Paw individual adoption listings so
that more non-US dogs can be listed. We do accept international groups into
our group database so make sure the contacts you work with are listed and
searchable! -Rocky.
I really enjoyed seeing all the dogs in their HOWL-O-WEEN costumes! Our
pets made the honorable mention pages......
Wendy & Todd Stewart
Rene, Belle and Louis too...
I Imagine my suprise at the serendipity! On Canine-L today
members were discussing Janine Adams' column on your web site, so I took
the opportunity to visit it when I got home and finished walking and
feeding the resident fur-people, currently consisting of my own seven
Scotties and one Rescue Scottie. And lo and behold, the breed of the day
was the Scottish Terrier. I have bookmarked your site so I can come back
regularly, you have amazing variety here! Best Wishes, Camille Partridge
I really appreciate the effort that you are doing for the various rescue
efforts. I know I have four dogs, eight cats and two goats. Three old goats
if you count my husband. Every one is neutered except my husband.
Thanks again for your effort you are doing a good service.
Hi - thanks for the comment and the extra chuckle! - Rocky
Hi! I caught the last 15 minutes of thepoop.com representatives on the
Channel 12 NJ News station yesterday afternoon, Sunday, August 6th with Dr.
Brian - how nice it was to actually see the people behind this great
website!! (I visit your sight daily!) Paige B.
I just happened upon your web site.....I loved it!! It's so nice to find a
forum such as yours. I just found the site yesterday and have already
submitted a picture for the Pict of the Litter and the Memory Bridge.
Wonderful! Thanks again!
Cheri M.,
PoopName (love that!) GMC1940
I know I've praised you before about such a
wonderful site... but I felt the need to do it again. The first thing I do after work is log on to the poop and check things out... makes my day!!!! I love the newer features such as Pict of the Litter (and thanks for putting my two on there). You guys really do have a good thing here and I recommend this site to so many people. Keep up the great work!!!!! A devoted fan, Lesley.
Aloha from Hawaii,
Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge over the Internet. I am very
grateful to you, as it has helped me also with my puppy :)
I am working to making this a habit, thanks and praise to people such as
yourselves for sharing your time and efforts over
the Internet. Thank you again. Leikela.
HI! Thank you so much for the new [Say treats] contest regulations! IT makes it much better
to have to be a member in order to vote.
I commend you on your great idea. Cassandra.
Hi Guys, Just wanted to tell you the funniest thing
that just happened here. I had not been on thepoop for awhile, and when that
barking dog came on greyhound number two who was in the room with me flew up in
the air , the old man Murphy the bloodhound came clopping down the hall baying
and the first grey Bullwinkle dropped his chew hoof in the hall and tried
pushing my speakers off the table. It was really something to see all this fuss
over a barking computer!! Love it guys God Bless Freddie and the
Furkids.
I just wanted to thank you for posting Ray-Bans picture [in the Memory Bridge]. It really made me smile to see her picture on-line. We miss her terribly. Thanks for such quick work on getting her posted.
